The Future: History in advance. An interesting name for a blog. This is about time, more accurately it’s about the future, about what will happen in this world in the coming years.
I became fascinated with time when I first saw the movie “The Time Machine” starring Rod Taylor. It excited my imagination as no other movie had to that time. Even at the age of 10, I was already a science fiction addict. I got this way mostly from movies. Let’s face it they don’t have many SF books in grade school libraries, but high school was a different story. Over the years I’ve read multiple books on time, both fiction and nonfiction.
Then came 1985, “Back to the Future” starring Michael J. Fox. Another great movie. Remember in BTTF 2 how Marty McFly bought a book in 2015 that had all the sports scores from 1955 to 2000. How old Biff stole the DeLorean, went back to 1955 and gave young Biff the book. Biff became rich. I thought how cool that would be to have a book that truly tells the future.
We can’t physically go into the future or the past for that matter but what if someone saw into the future and wrote about it. There are a number of those that say they have the extrasensory power of precognition, but they are not exactly accurate when they supposedly use it. We have different books and checkout “magazines” that claim to tell the future. Well, if they tell the future, it must be in an alternate universe. The percentage of correct predictions is pretty low. Now I should be more honest, the checkout “magazines” have a perfect record I think, zero percent. But there is hope.
You are not going to believe this, but I found one, a source document, and I’m not talking about the National Enquirer. This book is perfectly accurate. Remember in the movie how young Biff proved the Almanac was true? He tested it, checked it out and he saw that the scores and plays it spoke of, were correct. Well in the source document that I have, every prediction that I can find from the past has come true, exactly. So, this lends a lot of weight to those predictions about our future are true.
Full disclosure. The book that these very accurate predictions come from is the Bible. I know this turns some people off but if something might be true one should not be afraid to at least read about it.
The Bible is an interesting document. It consists of 66 books and letters. It was written over a span of 1500 years or so and covers a period of at least 4000 years. It was written by about 40 different people from all walks of life, and most did not know one another. The thing is the integration of these documents is so perfect it can’t have been design by a human. It is an integrated message system from outside our time domain. I wish I had come up with that phrase, but it came from Chuck Missler.
Next time we will start looking at the predictions, called prophecies, that have a bearing on our lives.
